I love the kit, fit so well in the Cache Belt I didn’t use any of the space of the Cache Hat.
Freed up space in my pockets leaving larger items at home but still have more equipment than I normally carry for adventures or emergencies
You might say I have a biased opinion as being someone who started with my first belt and survival kit through the Kickstarter campaign long story short all I can say is I wouldn’t have bought many belts and kits for friends if I didn’t think it was a quality kit for many different purposes plus who doesn’t like to try out new gear hope this helps
at first i thought $80 was a lot for a mini survival kit, until i tried to assemble my own, now i realize its a bargain, because all the items in the adventure kit are extremely high quality. to put together your own kit (with the same items) would cost $120 +. i highly recommend the adventure kit
Your fire starting tools are now an accent piece to your everyday look.
An innovation that combines primitive technique with present technology, the Bushcraft™ Necklace is inspired by the tried and true method of traditional fire-making. We've adapted traditional “Flint & Steel” methods into a modern-day version in this classy two-part pendant. Combined with rich mahogany brown leather and tied with classic mountaineering knots, it is a weekday accessory that can become a weekend lifesaver.
Necklaces are sold in a one size fits all format. The Double Fisherman's knot allows for adjustability, but please refer to the SPECS chart for complete sizing information.
If you saw Zach Fowler’s 30 day Canada Trip on his YouTube channel, you saw this necklace used dozens of times in a real application. I had to get a couple for my teen and preteen boys. Very pleased with them.
I ordered the bushcraft necklace because I lost the one I had, as it turned out I found my other one, now I have two which is good thing. ***** has nice merchandise, I ordered other items before. Delivery is always in a timely manner.
Cache: (noun) \ˈkăsh\ 1. hiding place especially for concealing and preserving provisions or implements. 2. a secure place of storage.
It’s a money belt, travel tool, survival kit, or whatever else you make it. The Cache Belt™ features a top-loading velcro enclosure that allows direct access to items, at any point along with the velcro pocket, while wearing the belt. The hook & loop closure reassures that the velcro has no single failure point. From discreet carrying of extra Euros on the streets of Amsterdam to packing a compass and signaling mirror up a volcano in Nicaragua, we've tested this belt all around the world and we're confident you'll agree: This is the ultimate everyday and travel accessory.
Let me explain. I have been a long time fan of *****. They delivery very high quality products. A bit pricey but well worth the cost. But... they are slow. I mean snail slow sometimes. Very frustrating! So... the products are great, but be ready to hurry up and wait.
Been wearing the belt for a week now. The first day it felt different from my normal belt. But now it feels normal. And I’m carrying cool gear on me. I bought the small. I have a 33 waist. There is about an inch of belt sticking out of the buckle when close. Also, it took a couple of days to get use to the buckle. But works fine. The small size fits the essentials kit ok. With a couple of inches inside to spare. But now I find I want the signal mirror and the trail markers. So I would say really think about what you want inside.
It works good as a belt and it looks good. But as EDC, it’s just comforting.
A simple belt buckle that works well. It does not slip or loosen even when wearing all day. Obviously fits the Cache belt, as well as other belts of similar size. A bonus is that it holds a small signal mirror.
TOUGH, LIGHT, CLEVER, AND COMPLETELY INCONSPICUOUS.
On your head, the Cache Cap™ looks like your everyday baseball cap. What you don’t see, is that on the inside this hat has 6, count 'em, SIXHIDDEN POCKETS. The 6 pockets include 3 in the main dome of the hat, 1 hook and loop closure located in the middle of the brim, and 2 narrow slot pockets also on the brim. These allow you to store a multitude of items in your cap. Of course, we suggest emergency items and have designed it to accommodate tools from both of our Cache Kits™.
This is a PATENTED design from Wazoo Survival Gear.
The pocket should be the same size as the bill, I am barely able to fit a 20.00 bill and 2 - 5.00 bills in it. The pockets should be all the way around the inside of the cap...This cap could be made way way better. Quality is good, it’s just lacking pockets...
I wear the cap daily while making photographs. It fits well, and allows me to carry a Cold Steel Micro Recon w/lanyard, Victorinox Classic SD, Gerber Shard, an eyeglass repair kit, mini Bic, 6 safety pins, 6 ft of cordage, lens cleaning cloth, some safety pins, some squares of aluminum foil, and a couple of Ziploc bags. You can just imagine how much stuff I have in my pockets and camera bag, on my keychain, and in my wallet!
The flat edge of this Ceramic Striker is the best firesteel striker you will ever use! Designed from White Zirconia Ceramic, this firesteel striker will not dull or corrode. Plus, the small hole on the ceramic allows you to run a piece of cord through it to make it into a necklace, wrist lanyard, or keychain.
Ceramic Ferro Rod Scraper Works Great, just a little pricey
The Ceramic Scraper is it is the best scraper I've come across to easily get a spark. It doesn't chew up your Ferro rod similar to other scrapers and makes getting a spark almost effortless. I show this scraper and the Mini Ceramic Folder during my Essential Wilderness Survival Class and always have participants that tell me they went online and bought the scraper or the folder.
These are excellent to put in a go-bag with a small Ferro rod for that unexpected emergency. I personally think they are a little pricey but are still worth buying for the go-bag or if you are initially having trouble starting a fire using a metal Ferro rod scraper.
I bought a small belt and buckle and the everyday essentials kit. I then cannibalized a couple of edc wallet cards I wasn’t using. It’s tight but to the essentials kit I added a knife, compass, magnifying glass, micro light, can opener with screw tips, toothpick and tweezers 3 normal bandaids, 4 small bandaids, closure strips, 3 alcohol pads, 1 antibiotic cream packer, 3 packets of pain reliever, $20 bill and the trail markers that I bought afterwards.
I also bought afterwards the mini signal mirror for behind the buckle and a added a medical dog tag the has a couple of needles, a file and some tweezers.
I had to pack the gear twice. The first I just put stuff in and wore for a week. You don’t won’t hard or rigid things placed at the points of your hips. I repacked and now it’s comfortable. I wear it every day. I was thinking of putting a grommet on each end. I think the belt could hold my weight, if I needed to hang from it.
I bought this Ceramic Ferro Rod Sharpener to add to my Leather Fire Starting Bracelet. Its great, tiny, sharp and works!
As usual, ***** products are simply the highest quality made from the finest materials bar none! I own a Hat (Bail Cap), several Bandanas, 2 Viking Sharpening Stone Leather Necklaces, 2 Leather Fire S
Starting Necklaces, 2 Can Koozies and 1 Leather Fire Starting Blacelet. Everything is TOP SHELF, TOP NOTCH!! You will not be disappointed!
Button compasses are notorious for being inaccurate and unreliable, so we custom made our own. The highest quality, most reliable button compass you'll ever use.
A high-quality compass protected by a hinged lid and mounted in an ABS plastic strap-keeper housing. Slip it onto a watchband, weave into a DIY paracord bracelet, or attach it to a piece of gear by sliding it on a strap or piece of webbing. For added protection, secure the lid closed with a Ranger Band.
Looked at so many of these watch band typed compasses, even name brands, not one of them was accurate. I was hesitant to order online without seeing it in person myself but I did anyways. Very happy with this purchase, exactly what I was looking for
This is definitely the watchband compass to get. In true ***** style, they pack all sorts of great features into it, including a durable reflective surface for signaling, a light-charged glow surface under the compass cover, and a very rugged hinged lid that protects the compass from scratches and looks a lot less obvious. It does make for a nice occasional conversation starter when someone gets close and asks, "What is that?" Thanks for another product I actually wear and that keeps me prepared!
Also referred to as Limb Lights, these small wire ties are neon orange on one side and retro-reflective on the other to provide visibility in both daytime and nighttime environments. Twist them around tree branches to mark your trail from camp, use them to seal your Emergency Reservoir™ water bag, or stack a few of them together to add an adjustable nose bridge to your improvised COVID-19 mask.
