Your fire starting tools are now an accent piece to your everyday look.
An innovation that combines primitive technique with present technology, the Bushcraft™ Necklace is inspired by the tried and true method of traditional fire-making. We've adapted traditional “Flint & Steel” methods into a modern-day version in this classy two-part pendant. Combined with rich mahogany brown leather and tied with classic mountaineering knots, it is a weekday accessory that can become a weekend lifesaver.
Necklaces are sold in a one size fits all format. The Double Fisherman's knot allows for adjustability, but please refer to the SPECS chart for complete sizing information.
I ordered the bushcraft necklace because I lost the one I had, as it turned out I found my other one, now I have two which is good thing. ***** has nice merchandise, I ordered other items before. Delivery is always in a timely manner.
Cache: (noun) \ˈkăsh\ 1. hiding place especially for concealing and preserving provisions or implements. 2. a secure place of storage.
It’s a money belt, travel tool, survival kit, or whatever else you make it. The Cache Belt™ features a top-loading velcro enclosure that allows direct access to items, at any point along with the velcro pocket, while wearing the belt. The hook & loop closure reassures that the velcro has no single failure point. From discreet carrying of extra Euros on the streets of Amsterdam to packing a compass and signaling mirror up a volcano in Nicaragua, we've tested this belt all around the world and we're confident you'll agree: This is the ultimate everyday and travel accessory.
Been wearing the belt for a week now. The first day it felt different from my normal belt. But now it feels normal. And I’m carrying cool gear on me. I bought the small. I have a 33 waist. There is about an inch of belt sticking out of the buckle when close. Also, it took a couple of days to get use to the buckle. But works fine. The small size fits the essentials kit ok. With a couple of inches inside to spare. But now I find I want the signal mirror and the trail markers. So I would say really think about what you want inside.
It works good as a belt and it looks good. But as EDC, it’s just comforting.
Gear head fashionista here had yo get two colors. lol
Great belt I got the coyote tan one and the black one which I keep loaded so I can just grab one and go.
When you size it up: measure twice and cut once if not you risk cutting too short.
So put the buckle where you think you want it then thread the other end through. Mark it with chalk or a crayon on the inside with how much length you want past the buckle. Make sure to add an inch or two if you weight varies (mine does) and only then cut it. It would be a real shame to come up short!
That being said it’s like having a ton of extra pockets!
The belt that gets you that look.
Yes you know that look. Peace of mind is always something worth while. Great belt good craftsmanship and it is packed to the brim with cool little survival items. The best part however is memorizing all the items in the adventure kit that are in your belt and watching the expression you get when you rattle off all the stuff in your belt. Happy with my purchase for sure.
TOUGH, LIGHT, CLEVER, AND COMPLETELY INCONSPICUOUS.
On your head, the Cache Cap™ looks like your everyday baseball cap. What you don’t see, is that on the inside this hat has 6, count 'em, SIXHIDDEN POCKETS. The 6 pockets include 3 in the main dome of the hat, 1 hook and loop closure located in the middle of the brim, and 2 narrow slot pockets also on the brim. These allow you to store a multitude of items in your cap. Of course, we suggest emergency items and have designed it to accommodate tools from both of our Cache Kits™.
This is a PATENTED design from Wazoo Survival Gear.
I am impressed with the change from the original Cache Cap. The mess interior makes the hat a ton cooler than the original one. There are a couple of drawbacks though. The mess pockets make it hard to conceal what is stashed in them. The other drawback, the gecko patch is no longer part of the cap. I enjoy showing the original cap off and giving you guys advertising due to the curious patch. I guess I will have to let it go for now.
The hat is good quality. The front bill pocket could and should be bigger. the way the stitching on the bill limits how big the pocket can be. The next iteration of this design should try to enlarge this main pocket. that then this I like the hat
Excellent product. I've been wearing it everyday. I have filled the hat with many items like the ferro rod, mini ceramic folder, the water purification kit, and still have room for more gear if needed. I will definitely purchase this hat again when the need arises.
The Everyday Essentials Kit is a custom-designed 15 tool survival kit, that fits in the Cache Belt™ and Cache Cap™. Most components in this kit are custom-made and cannot be found anywhere else. Every component was chosen to contain the highest quality parts while maintaining packability. The Essentials Kit is meant to be travel-friendly and leaves space in the Cache Belt™ for the addition of other gear.
Everything in this kit is high quality and would come in handy in a tough situation. The only problem I had was that I bought this to go in the cache belt and the duct tape seemed a little wide for the belt to stay closed.
Personally I love the survival tools from *****. They are well made, and more importantly for my needs, compact enough to stow just about anywhere. I believe in the idea that the best survival kit is the one you always have on you ... it's great if you put together a multi-thousand dollar "go-bag" filled with the best gear, but if it's not there when you need it ... you might as well not even have bothered. These great little items fit in jacket pockets, wallets, capsules, hat bands, belts ... all manner of places that you can stash them, so that they are there when you need them. Hopefully you won't, but it gives you comfort knowing they're always there.
Scraper, Ferro Rod, Tinder, and Paracord all in one necklace.
A complete fire starting necklace with all the tools to get a flame! While your friends might complement the look of your new necklace, they'll have no idea that what is actually hanging from your neck is a complete fire starting kit. An essential piece of gear to have while you're exploring the outdoors, but it's likely to become an integral part of your everyday carry ensemble. Wear it in the shower, wear it to sleep, wear on a summit attempt, or diving a reef. Whenever and wherever, wear this line around your neck, so your neck is never on the line!
Hello guys !
I decided to buy another one after having lost my previous ***** Firecord necklace...but I ordered two of them finally, because I wanted to cut one of them, test how works that sort of firecord that I've never used before. In France I'm used to another cord made with a hemp strand inside. After many attempts in the same conditions and with the same tools (ceramic+little firesteel) of the necklace, I was unable to make burn the red firecord I tried with my usual firecord and I started two fires. So I built a new necklace with the ***** tools and my usual cord (I added on each side of the back of the necklace two ranger bands rolled on the cord, and enfolled the ranger bands into knots of paracord 275 to avoid any skin contact with the rubber -lol-).
I'm disappointed since the article was just out of the box.
Despite I like ***** stuff, I rate 1 star...why ?
It's a necklace, you wear it on yourself all the time just in case...this article is to be considered as a last chance fire tool. If you buy the firecord version and not the leather one, it's because you prefer to already carry the tinder on yourself, not hoping to find it into the Wild. So 5 stars for the leather version (since the ceramic and the stone are good tools, specially for their small size), 1 for the firecord version. Hope this comment will be usefull, that's its only purpose.
KR from France :-)
The fire steel and ceramic scraper works without any issues. I've used it to start several fires using cotton balls and petroleum jelly. The problem I ran into was when I wore it to Disney. The paracord itself swelled up from excessive sweat preventing the fire steel from sliding to the other end to use with the scraper. Even after drying the neckless the paracord stayed in a swelled up form. If I ever need to use the fire steel again, I will need to cut it out.
Response from *****: Hey Gavin, thanks for the feedback on the necklace. We're happy to get you a replacement so that you can continue to wear the necklace. Just reach out to us via email and we'll get you one.
AWESOME this Buckle so cool it does so many things I wish it was a little bit bigger but we're having everything it has on you it's pretty awesome I made a paracord bracelet out of mine with paracord that has yaguar and Juke and fishing line inside of it as well as being 660 cord and it's pretty awesome I couldn't get as many loops on it as I wanted to but it's pretty good
...I love these little buckles!! I have a bunch and have one on everything. I have started many a fire with the ferrocium starter. The tiny knife works great to shred the starter material. The signal mirror works and while the whistle is not that loud, it works. I would add a button compass and there we go....
Handy little doo dad. This pairs well with Titan Survivorcord. The ceramic blade is perfect for shaving and fluffing up the waxed jute fire tinder in the cord. My main problem is that 3 of the signal mirrors fell off 3 of the buckles. I used gorilla glue to put them back 9n. My suggestion would be to have a Firestorm XL for a larger, 1 inch buckle with all the goodies this has and maybe more, like an LED light with an SOS setting and a small solar cell to keep the battery charged like they use on old calculators.
This thing has awesome sauce poured all over it! Want one piece of survival gear that's actually multiple quality pieces that are made here in America? AND lifetime guaranteed? Look no further!! Good job *****!!

If you get the airflow just right the whistle works, but it isn't very loud. The fire starter is tiny and while it sparks easy enough the spark is also tiny. I haven't tried the blade yet but it is also very small.
Very neat package for the very basic survival tools. Blade is very small and sharp so could be tricky to use as everyday, but the real beauty is how the fire steel is incorporated - brilliant again *****! Now to find some paracord...

Knife Sharpener Necklace That Modernizes a Viking Traditional Tool
The Viking Whetstone Pendant modernizes a traditional Viking tool using world-famous genuine Arkansas Novaculite. Designed as a great general-purpose fieldstone for knife-edge maintenance, with a medium fineness (600-800 relative grit size). Each stone is carefully chosen, hand-cut, ground and drilled. Each Whetstone Pendant is hand-tied using a unique knot that we call the “Napoleon Claw” and inspired by Viking/Celtic knot-work.
